Are we close to announcing a location for the Melbourne City School? Certainly that’s the key question on every prospective parent’s lips and one that we’re very keen to answer. A School for the early primary years requires a very special facility in a location that is highly convenient to the families of the young children. It must also, in both perceived and actual terms, be safe and secure and provide a healthy environment for the young children, who have different needs in this regard from older students. We are currently finalising negotiations on a prime CBD location and expect to release details of the site to the public in the next few weeks. We plan our first parent meeting to take place in the building in late September. So, YES, we are close.
