We were delighted to receive final approval of our registration as a new school from the Victorian Registration and Qualifications Authority (VRQA) at the end of December. The news was welcomed by the many families who are poised to start at the school this February. Encouragingly VRQA have not only formally registered the school but are actively supportive of the school and its future growth and development.

Launching the school will be our Prep to Year 7 cohort who attend their first day of school 1 February 2010.The school will then expand to Years 8 and 9 over the following two years with Senior Years 10-12 opening in 2012 - 2013. Our city centre location on the corner of King and Little Collins makes living and working in the city more convenient than ever before. With a blend of tuition and care from 7am – 7pm we provide a flexible and innovative option for schooling in the centre of Melbourne.
As part of the stable of educational initiatives emerging from ELTHAM College of Education, Melbourne City School will benefit from ELTHAM’s 35 years of education innovation and 13 years of experience with its acclaimed Year 9 City program.
